Santa’s Wildlife Express will take place at Wildlife Prairie Park (located at 3826 N Taylor Rd. in Hanna City) on Friday from 4 – 8 pm, Saturday from 2 – 8 pm and Sunday from 2 – 7 pm.  Visit with animal ambassadors at The Wilds in Forest Hall Education Center, ride the Express Train through the Enchanted Forest to the North Pole and visit Santa’s Workshop in Prairie Hall to decorate a cookie, write a letter to Santa, enjoy free hot chocolate and coffee and meet with Santa.  Cost is $13 for members and $15 for the public or free for ages 2 & under.  Reservations and advanced payment are required. The Annual Crittenton Centers Stocking Stuffer Store will take place at Northwoods Mall near JC Penney’s on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 – 8 pm as well as Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am – 6 pm.  The store allows children ages 12 and under to shop with the assistance of a volunteer for holiday presents for parents, grandparents, siblings – whomever they wish – while parents relax in a seating area located outside the store. Peoria Park District will host Winter Wonderland will take place at Glen Oak Park (located at 2320 N. Prospect Rd, Peoria) from Noon – 4 pm. Featuring a craft at the Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum in Santa’s workshop, then visit the grand Christmas Tree, take photos with Santa, and enjoy cookie decorating, hot cocoa, and letters to Rudolph at the Peoria Zoo.  Enjoy the poinsettia show, free family photos and a craft at Luthy Botanical Garden.  There will be a free shuttle between the facilities.  Tickets are $35 per person or $20 for Peoria Zoo members.   For more information, visit https://www.peoriazoo.org
