The 2nd Annual Peoria Dragon Boat Race will take place at the Peoria Riverfront beginning at 11 am. Featuring teams from China, Chicago, the East Peoria Boat Club and local community teams, there will also be a fashion show, a Mahjong experience, Chinese New Year Gala dance performances, a Chinese silk scarf exhibition, Mandarin & Chinese dialect conversation corner, Dragon dance & drumming, table tennis activities, a Tai Chi demonstration, a tug-of-war competition, traditional arts & hands-on activities, a Chinese movable-type printing experience, Chinese calligraphy, a Chinese tea ceremony, hands-on crafts, Chinese souvenirs, exhibitions & educational Activities and more.
