The Future Play Festival will take place in the Peoria Civic Center Convention Center on Saturday & Sunday from 10 am - 6 pm each day.  A gaming, entertainment, and technology festival, the event will bring together competitive e-sports, interactive gaming, creator culture, cutting-edge technology, cosplay, retro gaming, live entertainment, plus fan experiences.   Tickets are $29.42 (with fees) for either Saturday or Sunday or for both days, tickets are $49.79 (with fees) and are available at https://tickets.futureplayfest.com

This event will be held in conjunction with the Future Play After Dark concert on Saturday, October 3 at 8 pm.  Tickets for both days of the Festival plus the concert are $84.56 (with fees).

The Peoria Civic Center is made up of Carver Arena, a 2,000 seat Theater, multiple Exhibit Halls plus a ballroom and meeting rooms.  Sports teams who call the Civic Center home include the  Bradley University Braves men's basketball team and the Peoria Rivermen Hockey team.  The Peoria Symphony Orchestra and Peoria Ballet also perform in the theater.   And the American Theatre Guild hosts Broadway touring companies through their series in the theatre.
The facility opened in 1982 and thousands of events have taken place here over the last 40 years.  The Exhibit Hall D was added in 2007, bringing the overall exhibit space totaling over 100,000 square feet.  The Great Hall, the box office and the Peoria Rivermen office was part of that remodel as well.
