Summer may be over, but there are still several great Peoria Area fall festivals this season happening across the Peoria IL area.

The 2023 Annual Peoria Blues & Heritage Music Festival returns to the Peoria Riverfront on Friday, September 1st beginning at 5 pm and continuing on Saturday, September 2nd at 11:30 am. Featuring a world-class line-up of artists including Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Here Come The Mummies, The Record Company, Ana Popovic, Aaron Kamm & The One Drops, Formerly the Fox and BUTTA’, tickets start at $24.50 and are available by calling 800-514-ETIX or online at www.PBHFest.com
The Annual Grape Stomp and Harvest Festival will take place at the Mackinaw Valley Vineyard (located at 33633 State Route 9 in Mackinaw) on Sunday, September 3rd from Noon – 6 pm. Featuring wine tasting all day, food and DJ Vinny playing “stompin rock” plus a “Lucy” Look-a-Like contest as well as ice cream and cookies by Gramma Nana’s Ice Cream & Cookies and food concessions by “Tony’s on Wheels” from Haddad’s Lebanese Restaurant Admission is $5 per person or free for ages under 12. The Peoria Heights 125th Celebration will feature several events Thursday, September 7th through Saturday, September 9th including Taste of the Heights on Thursday, the Mr. Peoria Heights fundraiser finale, a car show, the Heights Artisanal Market, and a children’s amusement park on Friday & Saturday. The 2023 Pekin Marigold Festival will take place at Mineral Springs Park (located at 1701 Court St in Pekin) on Thursday, September 7th from 5:30 – 9:30 pm, on Friday, September 8th from 5 – 11 pm, on Saturday, September 9th from 9 am – 11 pm and on Sunday, September 10th from 8 am – 5 pm. Featuring a carnival, Art in the Park, a Festive Food Court on Saturday & Sunday, a parade on Saturday, a Lagoon Glow on Saturday night, live entertainment throughout the event plus kids activities and more, admission is free. The Big Picture Peoria Street Festival will take place in the Warehouse District of Peoria (located in the 1200 – 1300 blocks of SW Adams St. in Peoria) on Saturday, September 9th from 10 am – 4 pm. The 2023 Morton Pumpkin Festival will take place Wednesday, September 13th through Saturday, September 16th featuring various food items for sale made with pumpkin, live entertainment, a parade on Saturday, a carnival, the Pumpkin classic run/walk, an arts and crafts market and more, admission is free. The Peoria Oktoberfest will take place on the Peoria Riverfront (located at 200 NW Water St in Peoria) on Friday, September 15th from 5 – 11:30 pm, from 12 – 11:30 pm on Saturday, September 16th and 11 am- 5 pm on Sunday, September 17th. Featuring German heritage and culture through food, drink, live music and dance plus new for this year, Dachshund Races. Admission is $8 in advance or $10 at the gate on Friday & Saturday and $5 on Sunday in advance or $15 in advance for a weekend pass ($20 at the gate). Kids 12 & under are free. The 61st Anniversary Peoria Art Guild Fine Art Fair will take place at the Peoria Riverfront on Saturday, September 23rd from 10 am – 5 pm and on Sunday, September 24th from 10 am – 4 pm. Peoria’s nationally recognized art fair features an interactive mural, a kid’s art fair as well as 130 juried fine artists featuring original works of art including jewelry, painting, ceramics, photography, digital art, printmaking, mixed media, metal, glass, wood, sculpture, fiber, leather, and wearable fiber.
