Zootober will take place at Peoria Zoo (located at 2320 N. Prospect Rd, Peoria) on Fridays & Saturdays from 6 – 9 pm beginning October 10 running through October 25th plus October 30 & 31. Thursday, October 9th is for Zoo members only. Featuring immersive Halloween scenes filled with lifelike animatronics, dazzling light displays, and live actors, themed food and drinks, no animals will be on exhibit, but there will be eerie new “creatures” lurking in the shadows plus live entertainment throughout the evening. Costumes are encouraged. New this year is timed entry to ensure there’s no long wait to get into the event.
