Riverfront Museum - Ocean Odyssey Touch Tank

The Ocean Odyssey Touch Tank will take place at the Peoria Riverfront Museum (located at 222 NW Water St in Peoria) with public sessions at 11 am and 2 pm and a member exclusive session at 12:30 pm.  Featuring an educational presentation that breaks down common misconceptions surrounding sharks and rays, as well as highlighting the unique adaptations these animals have to survive. This program allows participants to explore the important roles sharks and rays that live thousands of miles away, and how people can help protect them.  Participants will have an opportunity to get their hands wet and touch some of the animals.  Admission for members is $10 and $15 for the public.  For more information and online tickets, visit www.peoriariverfrontmuseum.org This program in conjunction with with Finding Titanic: The Secret Mission.   The National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium will host the event.
