Peoria Riverfront Museum - The Prairie State and The Promise of America

The Peoria Riverfront Museum will host The Prairie State and The Promise of America from 2 - 7:30 pm.  A celebration of Illinois, and its role in shaping American history on the 250th anniversary of the country, including fun crafts and activities for the whole family, a Smithsonian educational documentary entitled National Parks Adventure narrated by Robert Redford, a special reading of the Declaration of Independence in its entirety, read aloud by community representatives, plus a Panel Discussion of perspectives from across our state.  All activities and museum galleries are open to the public with free admission.  For more information, visit https://www.peoriariverfrontmuseum.org
