The Peoria Riverfront Museum will kick off “Disney Fest” with a Disney Trivia and cocktail event from 6 – 8 pm. Admission is $24 for members and $30 for non-members for the Friday event. On Saturday, screenings of beloved classics “Cinderella” will take place at 10 am and a screening of “Alice in Wonderland” at 2:30 pm in the Giant Screen Theater. On Saturday evening beginning at 5:30 pm with dinner and then followed by a screening of “Peter Pan” which also includes one free glass of wine, a themed photo opportunity, and an exclusive talk from author Mindy Johnson about the creation of fairy icon Tinker Bell. Tickets for Saturday evening’s event are $35 for members and $40 for adult non-members. On Sunday, a screening of “Donald Duck Shorts” will begin at 12:30 pm in the Giant Screen Theater, the Laser Movie Magic show will be held at 1 pm in the Dome Planetarium. A “Draw Disney” workshop then follows in the auditorium from 1:30 – 2:30 pm with a screening of “The Reluctant Dragon” in the Giant Screen Theatre beginning at 2:30 pm.
