Peoria Humane Society - Bark in the Park

Peoria Humane Society’s Annual Bark in the Park  will take place at Tower Park (located at  1222 E Kingman Ave. in Peoria Heights) beginning at 10 am. Featuring the Marvelous Mutt Show, cake walks with prizes, souvenir photos, pet related exhibitors, dog rescue groups, raffle baskets, a cash raffle drawing, a parade, the event is a fundraiser for the Society.  Food trucks will also be on site.  Admission is free, however you can support the Peoria Humane Society by pre-ordering your Bark in the Park t-shirt for $25 before September 13th. Event fun includes the mutt show, cake walk, portrait photo, paw-print painting, and raffle baskets.  Bark Bucks can be purchased in advance or at the event for $5 each and used to participate in the event activities.

Bark in the Park is the Peoria Humane Society’s largest fundraiser and is vital to continuing to support people and animals throughout the Peoria area. Proceeds from Bark in the Park will help fund life-saving care for local animals in need, promote adoption of homeless shelter animals, provide food for hungry pets in our community, reduce pet overpopulation and create awareness about kind treatment of animals through educational programs. The PHS is a non-profit organization that depends on donors and funds raised through events like Bark in the Park to help animals locally.
