Whisper & Shout will take place at the Contemporary Art Center (located at 305 SW Water Street in downtown Peoria) beginning at 8 pm. A diverse open mic with artists from all backgrounds in a positive and inspiring atmosphere, admission in advance online is $5 for members, $8 for non-members, $3 for poets + fees until 6 pm the day of the show. The Contemporary Art Center of Peoria is located on the Peoria riverfront and offers exhibits, live music as well as classes. Their popular live entertainment includes Live at the Five Spot which takes place on Friday evenings, as well as Peoria’s Open Mic for Poetry, Whisper & Shout, the first Thursday of the month.
