The Annual Lily Show will take place at Luthy Botanical Gardens in Glen Oak Park from March 25 to April 17 from 10 am – 5 pm with the last entry at 4:30 pm each day. The garden has free admission, however donations are appreciated.
Bunny Photos will be available at Northwoods Mall from April 1 – 16 from 11 am – 7 pm. Pet night will be on April 4 from 5 – 7 pm. Photo package range in price from $34 to $44.99. Reservations are strongly encouraged and may be done HERE
The Peoria Zoo will host Hoppin’ Good Time on Saturday, April 9. The Zoo’s annual Easter egg celebration, features an Easter Egg Hunt for kids aged up to 3 years at 10:30 am, 4 – 7 pm at 10:50 am and 8 – 12 at 11:10 am. Admission is $3.50 for members, $10 for non-member children and $10.50 for non-member adults and are available in advance of the event at the Zoo.
Hoppy Daze will take place at the Shoppes at Grand Prairie on Saturday, April 9 from Noon – 4 pm. Take photos with The Bunny at A Royal Remembrance and get a goodie bag, there will be face painting by Wild Style Design Company and balloon art by the Unique Twist plus a scavenger hunt for a chance to win one of 12 basket giveaways. Admission is free.
An Easter Egg Hunt for kids and dogs with proceeds benefiting Freedom Paws Service Dogs at Timberlake Club on Saturday, April 9 with the first hunt beginning at 11:15 am. The dog Easter Egg hunt will begin at Noon. Bring a basket for collecting eggs. Other activities will include cookie decorating and crafts. Admission is free for kids aged 0-12 and a $10 donation per dog is requested.
The Peoria Jaycees and the Peoria Riverfront Association for a Bunny Hop Easter Scavenger Hunt on the Peoria Riverfront (beginning at 401 Water Street in Peoria) on Saturday, April 9 from 11 am – 2 pm. Follow the clues to hunt for eggs at various local businesses and landmarks along the Riverfront and Warehouse District. Each egg contains a treat and some may even contain a golden ticket that can be redeemed for a prize. Admission is free, however donations are always appreciated. Wildlife Prairie Park will host a Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt Friday through Sunday, April 15-17. On Saturday, there will be hayrack rides every 30 minutes from 11 am – 2 pm. Lulu the Easter Bunny will make an appearance at Noon each day. Admission is $3 in addition to regular admission, which is free for members or $6 for children aged 2 – 12, $9 for ages 13 – 64 or $7 for senior citizens 65 or over.
