Here are haunted houses in Peoria plus other area Halloween events:
Spider Hill at Three Sisters Park will take place in Chillicothe on every Friday & Saturday beginning on October 2nd and running through October 25th. Featuring two main attractions, the Massacre Mansion & Trail of Terror, a sensory friendly version of the haunts will be open on Saturday, October 3 from 6 – 7 pm for $20. Gates open at 6:30 pm each night and ticket sales begin at 7 pm and run through 11 pm. Each of the attractions are $23 or a fast pass is $35. The longest running haunted attraction in Illinois, Spook Hollow located in Marquette Heights, will feature 3 “spooks” including the main one (Spook Hollow) plus M.C. Mansion and M.C. Nightmare. The attraction will be open every Friday and Saturday for the last 3 weekends in October with tickets going on sale at the gate beginning at 6:30 pm through 11 pm every night. Tickets are $30 or $45 for a “Speed Pass”. Advance tickets are available at http://www.spook-hollow.com 100% of the proceeds from Spook Hollow are a fundraiser for the club and are donated back to Marquette Heights and surrounding communities.
The Aura Haunted House in the historic Pollak Hospital Building in Bartonville will be open every Friday & Saturday through October from 7 – 11 pm. Sunday night hours (October 11, 18 & 25) are 6 – 9 pm. There will also be “black out” dates where you go through the indoor haunt in complete darkness. Tickets are $38.50 or $53.50 for a fast pass and are available at https://aurahauntedhouse.com A “Now Pass” will be available only at the gate for $68.50.
The Vibe Haunted House (located at 601 Veterans Lane in Creve Coeur) returns this year – it’s affiliated with the Aura Haunted House (see above). The attraction will be open every Friday & Saturday in October from 7 – 11 pm with ticket prices set at $33.50 for general admission or $48.50 for a speed pass and are available in advance at vibehauntedhouse.com A “Now Pass” will also be available only at the gate for $63.50. Combo tickets for the Aura Haunted House and the Vibe Haunted House are available also in advance for $58.50 (general admission) or $88.50 (speed pass).
The Dark Mine Haunted Museum will be open at the Peoria State Hospital (located at 4400 W Industry Rd. in Bartonville) Fridays & Saturday in October from 7 pm – Midnight. Darkwell Museum houses haunted artifacts: the delivery bays surrounding the ominous building have become overwhelmed with the nightly shipments allowing evil entities of all kinds to spill out over the hilltop.
