The 16th Annual Shorty’s Strickly Bluegrass Festival will take place at the Stoney Creek Inn (located at 101 Mariner’s Way in East Peoria) beginning on Thursday with a Gospel concert at 7 pm. Concerts continue on Friday at 7 pm, at 1 pm and 7 pm on Saturday and a Sunday Morning Gospel performance beginning at 9:30 am. Bands include Illinois Rail, Branded Bluegrass, Kaintuck Band, Bluegrass 101, Ashley Lewis & Legacy and Willie Wells & BRMG. Tickets are $30 per show except the Thursday show which is $15 with any other ticket purchase. Weekend passes are $50 at the door (does not include Thursday's show).
