Self Made: Celebrating Peoria’s Female Artists

Self Made: Celebrating Peoria’s Female Artists will take place at the Betty Jayne Brimmer Center for the Performing Arts (located at 1327 East Kelly Ave. in Peoria Heights) at 7 pm.   Featuring an all-female lineup of many of Peoria musicians, including Sarah Mooberry, Alison Hanna, Cami Proctor, Abbey Haste, Audrey Voss, Judy Page and other guest artists to be announced plus guest speakers Mary Jo Papich, Nikki Romain, and Jenn Gordon.   Tickets include hors d'oeuvres served by a woman-owned catering company, Connie Randall’s A Matter of Taste, with visual art sculptures on display by Morgan Elser. Other prominent local female artists’ artwork will also be on display and for sale.   Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the shows and are available at www.thebettyjayne.com
