A video recording of the world premiere of Ruth the Musical will be presented on YouTube, available Friday through Sunday. The presentation is free, however donations to Midwest Food Bank are encouraged. Written in 2018 by Morton resident, David Getz, Ruth the Musical is a love story, showing family loyalty and incredible faith in times of trial. A related event, the Composer’s Q&A will take place on Saturday at 7 pm. The forum cost is a donation of $20. Participants will have the opportunity to talk with the composer, David Getz and lead performers from the show via Zoom plus will include a discussion of the making of the show over several years, its meaning, and the performers experiences in the arts.
