Ruth the Musical will be presented at Five Points Washington (located at 360 N Wilmor Rd. in Washington) beginning at 7 pm on Saturday night and at 3 pm on Sunday. An original work of musical theatre by local composer David Getz, the show will feature a pit orchestra, conducted by Getz himself, along with an expanded choir. Local vocal professionals Courtney Huffman Frye (Ruth), Alison Meuth (Naomi), and Daniel Megli (Boaz) lead a powerful cast to tell the timeless story of tragedy, love, and redemption.
