The Peoria Irish Fest will take place at the Peoria Riverfront Friday beginning at 4 pm, Saturday beginning at Noon and Sunday beginning at 11 am. Enjoy a variety of musicians from around Peoria, the country, and the world, playing both traditional and more modern Irish music, Irish dancers from a variety of Irish Dance Schools, plus learn more about Irish traditions in the Cultural Village. Also featured will be the Ancient Athletic sporting competition featuring the Sheaf Toss, Caber Toss, Stone Put, Hammer Throw, Braemar Stone/Open Stone - heavyweight for distance and lightweight for distance. A community mass service will be held on Sunday at 11 am. Admission is $14 for advanced tickets through July 31 or $18 per day beginning on August 1 or $30 for a 3-day weekend pass through July 31 or $35 beginning on August 1. Tickets are available at
