The Peoria Park District Founder’s Day Celebration will take place at Glen Oak Park (located at 2218 N. Prospect Rd. in Peoria) from 2 – 7 pm.   Featuring live music by Za Funk, the East Bluff All-Stars, and the Peoria Municipal Band, a kids’ area with games and activities plus lagoon activities including fishing and unique water games, plus vendors and food trucks Palarte, Rumburger’s Wings, and Panaderia Ortiz Bakery plus the Parks on Tap Traveling TapHouse.   At sunset, lanterns in the lagoon will be available for a $10 donation to support the Peoria Park District Foundation’s Legacy Fund.  For more information, visit https://www.facebook.com

Peoria Park District

The oldest and largest park district in Illinois, the Peoria Park District encompasses nearly 60 square miles.
