The Peoria Historical Society Annual Holiday Home Tour will take place on Saturday from 5 - 9 pm and on Sunday from 1 - 5 pm. This annual tradition offers the chance to stroll through a series of private homes that are rarely open to the public. The historic homes are chosen to reflect a diversity of different architectural and interior design styles, and each is beautifully decorated for the holidays. See both Flanagan House (located at 942 NE Glen Oak Ave. in Peoria) and Pettingill-Morron House (located at 1212 W Moss Ave. in Peoria) in their holiday finery plus stroll through a series of five private homes that are rarely open to the public. Addresses of the 5 private homes are 3121 N. Bigelow Street, 1214 N. Institute Place, 1414 W. Columbia Terrace, 1105 W. Moss Avenue, 1212 W. Moss Avenue and 942 NE Glen Oak Avenue. A VIP Tour is also available for $100 which includes appetizers, drinks and a private tour of homes plus transportation to each house on a heated private bus for 20, without worrying about driving and finding a parking spot. You will then be transported back to your vehicle when the tour is completed.
