The Peoria Evening Garden Club, in conjunction with Peoria County Master Gardeners, will host their annual Green Acres Plant Sale at the Peoria Metro Centre (located at 4700 N University St. in Peoria) from 8 am - Noon. Club members dig their own perennials, hostas, shade plants, ground covers and herbs as well as some annuals, re-pot, and sell them at this fundraiser. Proceeds from the sale will be used for the annual ICC Scholarship fund awarded to an Illinois Central College horticulture student. Garden Club members will be available to answer any questions.
