The Peoria Area World Affairs Council will host Trade is Not a 4 Letter Word with the Honorable Fred Hochberg at Distillery Labs (located at 201 SW Adams in Peoria) beginning at 4:30 pm. Mr. Hochberg will discuss a wide range of issues affecting trade for Central Illinois manufacturers and farmers. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be available. Tickets are $40 for PAWAC members and $50 for the general public with reservations due on June 10 and are available at

| Mr. Hochberg served as the chairman and president of the Export-Import Bank of the United States under President Obama from 2009 to 2017, becoming the longest-serving chairman in the agency’s history. He also has a storied career as a successful businessman and academic as well as the former chairman and president of the Import-Export Bank. |
