Peoria Area World Affairs Council will host Coffee Around the World at Leaves n’ Beans (located at 4800 N. Prospect Rd. in Peoria Heights) beginning at 6 pm. A fundraiser for the organization, at the event the master roaster will describe the wonderful coffees they bring from around the world, and the best techniques for bringing out the best flavors. There will also be live music, hors d’oeuvres, and coupons for future visits to Leaves n’ Beans. Tickets are $25 for adults or $40 for two available in advance at https://www.lnbcoffee.com
