Peoria Area Civic Chorale - An American Family Christmas

The Peoria Area Civic Chorale will present An American Family Christmas at Five Points Washington (located at 360 N. Wilmor in Washington) on Friday & Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2:30 pm. This will be new artistic director and conductor Dr. Joshua Russell’s first concert along with musical guests including the Peoria Civic Chorale Youth Chorus, a teen Young Artist Competition winner, a Jr. High Festival Chorus (on Friday) plus an appearance of Santa and Mrs. Claus.  Tickets are $10 for students, $25 for adults and $20 for groups of 10 or more or free for children 12 and under and are available at 309-693-6725, online at  www.peoriacivicchorale.org or at the door. The concert will feature modern arrangements of favorite carols such as “How Great Our Joy,” “Ding Dong Merrily on High,” “Go Tell It on the Mountain” and “Silent Night” as well as exciting arrangements of “Jingle Bells,” “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and “Man with the Bag.” From beautiful a capella to swinging jazz, there is something for audience members of all ages to enjoy.
