Michele L. Sullivan

Michele L. Sullivan will make an appearance at the Illinois Prairie District Public Library Germantown Hills branch (located at at 509 Woodland Knolls Rd. in Germantown Hills) from 1 - 3 pm.  Sullivan recently retired as the Director of Corporate Social Innovation and President of the Caterpillar Foundation and is a globally recognized motivational speaker.  Born with a rare form of dwarfism, standing just four feet tall, and perpetually looking up, Michele transformed her perceived disability into an advantage using it as fuel, a source of insight, and a relentless drive that allowed her to establish an extraordinary career.  Part of the library's Local Authors Series, admission is free.  For more information, visit www.ipdpl.org
