The Knox Galesburg Symphony will present A Celebration of Spirit Concert at the Orpheum Theatre (located at 57 S Kellogg St. in Galesburg) from 7 pm. Featuring a kickoff to the holiday season, will open with “Peer Gynt” Suite No. 1 by Edvard Grieg, followed by “Carmen” Suite No. 1 by Georges Bizet and concluding with Tchaikovksy's "The Nutcracker Suite". Multi-talented musician, composer, and arranger Wesley Anderson will make his debut as conductor of the orchestra. Admission $5 for students and $.
