The Peoria Symphony Orchestra will close their 121st season with ’Great Cities: New York’ at the Peoria Civic Center Theater beginning at 7:30 pm. From the romantic sounds of Barber and MacDowell to Bernstein’s rhythmic Symphonic Dances from West Side Story to the “lullaby” of Broadway, this concert will be a whirlwind celebration of the “city that never sleeps.” Goeffrey Duce finishes his year with the PSO with MacDowell’s Piano Concerto #2.
