The German American Society of Peoria will host Marchtoberfest will take place at the Lindenhof (located at 7601 N. Harker Drive in Peoria) from Noon – 8 pm. Featuring a buffet of parmesan chicken, grilled pork, Munich Special (sausage and chicken in a wine sauce with pasta), red cabbage, green beans with bacon, roasted red potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy, with salad and bread and butter for $15 through 6 pm. Kids aged 6 – 10 are $7 or $5 if they wear German dirndl or lederhosen. Assorted desserts will also be available. Kids 5 and under eat free. There will also be live entertainment provided by Tom Dorigatti on the accordion and Al’s Pals Polka Band plus a full bar with German beers on draft, a selection of German wines, and German liqueurs will also be available.
