The Fine Arts Society will host Contemporary Textile Arts: Pushing the Boundaries which will take place at the Peoria Riverfront Museum (located at 222 NW Water St in Peoria) beginning at 10 am. Featuring a presentation by Tara Ritacco, Textile Professional and Mixed Media Artist, discussing a number of artists and designers who are pushing the boundaries of contemporary fashion, costuming, textiles and fiber arts plus share her insights from personal experience designing custom textiles.
