The Fine Arts Society will host Working Women: Italian Women Artists from 1500–1800 which will take place at the Peoria Riverfront Museum (located at 222 NW Water St in Peoria) beginning at 10 am. Featuring Dr. Eve Straussman-Pflanzer, Curator and Head of Italian and Spanish Paintings, National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., who will trace the avenues for success of women artists in Italy from 1500 until 1800.
