Corn Boil

The Peoria German American Society will host its annual Corn Boil at Hickory Grove Park (located at 12403 North Hickory Grove Rd. in Dunlap) from Noon - 8 pm.    Featuring a meal of a pork chop sandwich, all you can eat sweet corn, baked beans, and coleslaw, cost is $9.  German and domestic beer are available, along with soft drinks, and a cash bar.  Carry outs are also available.  Proceeds for the event will be used to maintain and upgrade the park.  For more information, visit  www.peoriagermans.net Picnic tables have been placed 6 feet or more apart and customers will be able to socially distance in the kitchen serving area by the markings in the food line. All servers will be wearing face coverings. Cleaning and disinfecting of all common areas will be performed prior to opening and as needed during the day.
