Contemporary Art Center - Whisper and Shout

Whisper & Shout will take place at the Contemporary Art Center beginning at 8 pm. In just a decade, Goddess Warrior The Poet (aka Dianna Tyler) has blazed a trail of inspirational domination. Recent highlights include: 2021 Chicago Music Awards “Best Spoken Word Artist of the year”; won the “People’s Choice Award” in the NextShowcase Chicago Competition; 1st spoken word artist in Illinois to write and co-produce her first poetic short film; published a book of poetry and audio album, hostess of The Wordshop Open Mic in Rockford; 1st African American female poet to produce and direct a spoken word stage play inside Rich South High School in Richton Park.
