Central Illinois Jazz Society - Central Illinois Jazz Orchestra

Central Illinois Jazz Society's November show will feature the Central Illinois Jazz Orchestra with Dr. Todd Kelly at the Trailside Event Center (located at 4416 N Prospect Rd. in Peoria Heights) from 6 - 8:15 pm.  The CIJS House Band under the leadership of Larry Harms kicks off the evening, featuring outstanding jazz musicians from the area.   Admission is $8 for CIJS members, $12 for the public and students are free.   You may bring your own snacks, however no beverages which will be available for purchase.  For more information, visit https://www.facebook.com The group plays classic jazz charts from Count Basie to Stan Kenton and from Duke Ellington to Maynard Ferguson. Fronted by Dr. Todd Kelly from Bradley University, who also plays trumpet with the band, CIJO has quickly established themselves as one of the hardest swinging bands in the Midwest.
