Central Illinois Jazz Society's April show will feature the Elmhurst University Jazz Band at the Trailside Event Center (located at 4416 N Prospect Rd. in Peoria Heights) from 6 - 8:15 pm. The CIJS House Band under the leadership of Larry Harms kicks off the evening, featuring outstanding jazz musicians from the area. Special guest Illini Bluffs High School Jazz Band will also perform. Admission is $8 for CIJS members, $12 for the public and students are free. You may bring your own snacks, however no beverages which will be available for purchase.
