The 33rd Annual Duck Race will take place at Eastside Centre in East Peoria with festivities beginning at 4 pm with the race running at 6 pm. A fundraiser featuring 30,000 ducks sliding down the water slide, cost to adopt a duck is $5. The first 15 ducks through the finish line are the winners and prizes include a $10,000 cash grand prize plus gift cards to popular retail stores, restaurants, and other area businesses.
