The 2026 Gerald M. Brookhart Arts In Education Spring Celebration will be held in the Sun Plaza of the Peoria Riverfront Museum and in the Rear Plaza outside the Caterpillar Visitor's Center (or inside the facilities if the weather in inclement) from 11 am - 1 pm weekdays April 21 through May 14. Celebrating the talents of over 12,000 students from 136 schools from pre-K -12th grade from seven Central Illinois counties who will perform, exhibit and demonstrate their talents in the fine and applied arts. All student visual art will be displayed inside the main lobby of the Peoria Riverfront Museum daily
