The 3rd of July celebration will take place at Glen Oak Park (located at 2218 N Prospect Rd in Peoria) beginning at Noon. Featuring reduced admission to the Peoria Zoo and Peoria PlayHouse, face painting, bounce house and balloon art., at 5 pm, live entertainment begins at the Amphitheatre including JC and the Redemption, the Peoria Ballet, Community Children’s Theatre and Peoria Municipal Band featuring vocalists Melissa Blain & Lee Wenger plus food and ends with the fireworks spectacular.
