The Annual Earth Day Festival will take place at Forest Park Nature Center (located at 5809 N. Forest Park Drive in Peoria Heights) from 11 am - 4 pm. Featuring a vendor and exhibitor area with organizations and businesses who use sustainable practices who will share their work and products, the Peoria Zoo and Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum representatives will return with their creative, wildlife-inspired face painting station, plus representatives from Camp Wokanda will be back to sell their 2024 maple syrup. There will also be guided hikes, food and coffee vendors, pop-up activities and stations to explore plus entertainment including Safari Joe, the Peoria Drum Circle, Goodnight Gracie and more.
