The Peoria Historical Society Annual Holiday Home Tour will take place on Saturday from 5 – 9 pm and on Sunday from 1 – 5 pm. This annual tradition offers the chance to stroll through a series of private homes that are rarely open to the public. The historic homes are chosen to reflect a diversity of different architectural and interior design styles, and each is beautifully decorated for the holidays. See both Flanagan House (located at 942 NE Glen Oak Ave. in Peoria)and Pettingill-Morron House (located at 1212 W Moss Ave. in Peoria) in their holiday finery, the Peoria Women’s Club plus stroll through a series of four private homes that are rarely open to the public. Tickets are $20 through November 30 or $25 at the door and are available by calling 309-674-1921 or online at https://309tix.com
This year, a VIP Tour is also available for $100 which includes appetizers, drinks and a private tour of homes. Enjoy transportation to each house on a heated private bus for 20, without worrying about driving and finding a parking spot. You will then be transported back to your vehicle when the tour is completed.

The repertoire will include reimagined versions of favorite Christmas songs like “Joy to the World,” “Silent Night,” “O Come All Ye Faithful” and new favorites like an African themed “Noel,” an a capella version of “O Magnum Mysterium,” and a men’s choral version of “Blue Christmas.” Featuring soprano and Peoria native Dr. Jamie-Rose Guarrine. Dr. Guarrine, the Peoria Area Civic Chorale Youth Chorus, a winner of PACC’s Young Artist competition nightly and a Jr. High Festival Chorus performance on Friday. Santa and Mrs. Claus will also make appearances.
