A Royal Remembrance will host Royalty At The Castle at the Soderstrom Castle (located at ​4717 N Grandview Dr. in  Peoria Heights) beginning at 3 pm.  Princesses will be stationed throughout the castle grounds for (non candy items) trick or treating, games and photo opportunities and light refreshments will also be provided.  Non-scary costumes are encouraged and welcomed to enter the costume contest.  Tickets are $25 per person for all ages.  For more information and to purchase tickets, visit https://www.aroyalremembrance.com

Wildlife Scary Park will take place at Wildlife Prairie Park (located at 3826 N Taylor Rd. in Hanna City) from 4 – 10 pm on Friday, from 2 – 10 pm on Saturday and from 2 – 8 pm on Sunday. Featuring a giant Trick-or-Treat Trail, haunted hayrack rides, train rides and animal encounters, the “not-so-scary” version will run prior to 6 pm each night.  Admission is $12 or $10 for WPP members or free for ages 2 & under and are available online only (no sales at the gate) at www.wildlifeprairiepark.org

The “Not So Scary” annual Witches Walk will take place at the Fondulac Farm Park (located at 305 Neumann Dr. in East Peoria) on Friday & Saturday from 6 – 8 pm. Tickets are $4 for ages 1-15 and $5 for ages 16 years & older. A Halloween Live at the Five Spot featuring The Brazilionaires will take place at the Contemporary Art Center (located at 305 SW Water St. in Peoria) beginning at 6:30 pm.  Featuring a Bonus Hour and a Costume Contest with prizes, advanced online admission is $8 for members, $12 for non-members until 5 pm the day of event or at the door cost is $12 for members or $18 for non-members if capacity hasn’t been reached with advance online sales. About the Band: The Brazilionaires music is an exciting blend of Latin & pop with a jazzy feel. This unique Nashville based band is fronted by electrifying vocalist Dove Benoit and guitarist “Rico” Wayne Johnson featuring some of the Midwest’s finest musicians. Their original music has received airplay on radio stations across the US and Europe and can be heard on Internet streaming stations like Pandora and Spotify. The band is known for thrilling and entertaining live shows, and often perform their own Latin versions of rock & pop cover tunes, big pleasers with audiences. The band has wooed crowds recently with concerts at Navy Pier in Chicago and festivals across the Midwest.

The Aura Haunted House (located in the Old Peoria State Hospital at 4500 Enterprise Drive in Bartonville) will be open Fridays & Saturdays from 7 – 11 pm through October.  Originally the Illinois Asylum for the Incurable Insane operated by the State of Illinois from 1902 until 1973, during the years of operation, the Pollak Hospital saw hundred of patients pass away from tuberculosis. Old State Mine Haunted Trail will take place on the haunted asylum grounds of the Peoria State Hospital (located at 4208 W Pfeiffer Rd. in Bartonville) from 7 pm – 12:30 am.  Travel through these well-known haunted woods that will leave you terrified of the darkness that dwells on these abandoned asylum grounds.
