A Richard Pryor Film Festival will take place at the Peoria Riverfront Museum’s Giant Screen Theatre Saturday August 13 & Saturday, August 20. Featuring Pryor’s films Brewster’s Millions, Silver Streak all showing on August 13 and Harlem Nights, Jo Jo Dancer Your Life is Calling, and Richard Pryor Live on the Sunset Strip all showing on August 20, tickets are $8.50 for adult members, $7.50 for senior citizen members, $10.50 for adults, $9.50 for senior citizens and $8.50 for children and are available online at www.peoriariverfrontmuseum.org

In partnership with The George Washington Carver Community Center, celebrating 100 years.  Legendary comedian & Peoria native Richard Pryor got his start in comedy at The Carver Center.  All proceeds of the Richard Pryor Film Festival benefit the George Washington Carver Community Center.
