The Peoria German American Society will host Brats, Bier and Polka will take place at  at Hickory Grove Park (located at 12403 Hickory Grove Rd. in Dunlap) from Noon - 8 pm.  Featuring Eddie Korosa, this family friendly event is reminiscent of a traditional German picnic held in a tree covered biergarten.   Admission and parking are free.  Food to be served includes pork schnitzel, bratwurst, hot dogs, German potato salad, sauerkraut, cole slaw and Bavarian pretzels.   For full details, visit www.peoriagermans.net
