Schlachtfest is rooted in an old German tradition associated with preparing food resources during the fall before the onset of winter.   Today, the event celebrates German culture, heritage and community through food, music and family-friendly activities. No dogs or outside coolers are permitted during the festival. Service animals are welcome. A designated drop-off area will be available for elderly guests, individuals with disabilities and families with small children.  Schlachtfest is a cash-only event, and no ATM will be available on-site.
