Contemporary Arts Center - Juneteenth Celebration

A Juneteenth Celebration will take place at the Contemporary Art Center (located at 305 SW Water St. in Peoria) beginning at 6:30 pm.  Featuring feature three presenters: Chama St. Louis-Boone, a national organizing strategist and coalition builder, spoken word poet Constance Jackson and exhibiting artist Robert Anthony Ketchens who will share about his paintings reflecting the social complexities of the African diaspora. Bloomington-based band Soft Spoken featuring vocalist Jamika Russell will provide smooth R&B/Soul music will provide live music.  Admission is free.
