The Italian American Society of Peoria's 94th Annual Festa Picnic will take place at Hickory Grove Park (located at 12403 N Hickory Grove Rd in Dunlap) from 12 - 5 pm. Featuring Authentic Italian recipes prepared by Barrack's Cater Inn: mostaccioli with meat sauce and choice of meatball or Italian sausage, meatball sandwich or Italian sausage sandwich, there will also be a variety of homemade Italian desserts to purchase from the bakery stand. Italian and domestic beer and wines will be available, plus a bocce ball tournament, live Italian music by Vince Amore and Jack Miuccio, kids’ activities including face painting, an inflatable slide and a spaghetti-eating contest, plus local artisans to displaying and selling their wares.
