Peoria German American Society - Schlachtfest

The Peoria German American Society Schlachtfest at Hickory Grove Park (located at 12403 Hickory Grove Rd. in Dunlap) from Noon - 8 pm.  Featuring German dinners and live German music by the Ratskellar Brummer’s, Lindenhof Echoes and Vogel Music, dinners will include sides and sandwiches will be available separately. A campfire will round off the evening with complimentary marshmallows. Hickory Grove is styled after a typical German Beer Garden.   A German Car Cruis'n will be run during the event from Noon - 5 pm.  Owners of German make cars and/or motorcycles are welcome to be part of the show.  Those who arrive before 2 pm will receive a coupon for a drink or sandwich. There is no cost to participate in the Cruis'n.  Only allow service animals are allowed.  There is no ATM on site:  sales are cash only.
