Illinois River Valley Orienteering Club (I.R.V.O.C.) will host a Rugged Outdoor Group Activity Involving Navigation and Endurance or ROGAINE at Wildlife Prairie Park (located at 3826 N Taylor Rd. in Hanna City) beginning at 8:30 am. Cost is $20 per person or $25 for a team up to 4 people (IRVOC members get $5 off). There is no need to pre-register. Registration can be done at the event. Unlike a standard O-Meet where you need to find the controls in a prescribed order, in the ROGAINE you can find the controls in any order you choose. This involves a bit more strategy and mapping skills, which adds to the fun. The goal is to find as many controls as you can (or want to) within the 6 hour time limit.
