Get ready to kick off your Sunday shoes and cut loose as Footloose, one of the most explosive movie musicals of all time, bursts onto the live stage. The top-ten hit score is elevated with dynamic new songs for the stage musical! When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, he is prepared for the inevitable adjustment period at his new high school. But he’s not prepared for the rigorous local edicts, including a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher, who is determined to exercise control over the town’s youth.

​Peoria Players Theatre in Peoria, Illinois, is the oldest continuously running community theater in the state and the fourth oldest in the nation.  PPT produces 5 musicals and one non-musical each season plus presents the Rocky Horror Picture Show (complete with props) at Halloween plus a Christmas special musical revue.  Their summer youth show allows high school-aged students to perform a musical each year.
