The Peoria Historical Society will host “Moses Pettengill: Peoria’s Freedom Conductor” at the Pettingill-Morron House (located at 1212 W Moss Ave. in Peoria) with two sessions: one at 1 pm and one at 2:30 pm. Historian Corey Curtis will discuss Moses Pettengill’s efforts in spearheading the local underground railroad.
