The German America Society of Peoria will host Tracht’n Stein at the Lindenhof (located at 7601 N Harker Ave. in Peoria) from Noon – 8 pm. Featuring German music, food and beer, there will be door prizes for wearing Tracht (German clothing) and bringing steins. Plated dinners including your choice of two meats: bratwurst, thuringer or pork chops, German potato salad, and sauerkraut will be $10 served from noon to 6 pm or $5 for kids for dine in or carryout. Homemade Apfelkuchen will be available for $3 plus there will be a cash bar with German beer, select domestics on draft plus wine and mixed drinks will also be available.
