The Peoria German-American Society will host their annual Corn Boil at Hickory Grove Park (located at 12403 N Hickory Grove Rd. in Dunlap) from noon – 8 pm. The family friend event features activities including Central Illinois Soccer League playoff games, bags and a children’s play area, live entertainment by Billy Washburn from 3 – 6 pm and meals including a pork chop sandwich, all you can eat sweet corn, baked beans, and coleslaw will be available for $10 until 7 pm (or until food runs out).
